Tonys Coffeebar — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Great Italian coffee shop. The coffee is perfect (assuming you adhere to the religion of a classic Italian roast), the pastries and sweets are all top notch and I can especially recommend the granola which I will be going back for.

What puts this place apart is the owner who just makes the whole place feel warm and welcoming and there is that special genial atmosphere which you tend to only find in Italy or other mediterranean countries. This is a great spot for that morning cup of joe and a read of the news or a favourite book. There are a few seats inside and an outdoor seating which is just the right mix of street chic and neighborhood hangout.

One of my top 3 favourites for strong Italian style coffee in Gothenburg. Amazing service and delicious food.

The toasted focaccia’s are fresh and tasty. My husband enjoys the aragostine and the chocolate croissants. I prefer the plain croissants and the biscotti!

Tony’s is well located down near Gothia Towers hotel, the bus stop for the airport if you need a sneaky coffee on the way. Close to the biggest ICA - Focus supermarket. Very lovely place and quality!

It is hard to find a capuchino with the right "texture" especially when it is lactose free. At Tonys Coffeebar it was great quality, and I recommend their amazing fresh pastry. Accidentally I picked a croasson filled with apricot which would had been fine by me, but I was even offered to change it back to one that came with chocolate. It really made my day!...
