Poseidon — Attraction in Göteborgs Stad

An incredible space, that has significance both historically and culturally in the city of Gothenburg. This is the place where most protests, which are an important feature of a healthy democracy, starts. The place is beautifully designed, cradled between culturally significant buildings, that looks at the roads that lead to the city center. This is a must visit, and photo-op place in Gothenburg should you choose to visit. My tip would be to walk this up from the city square while drinking in the sights of old architecture, while you pass the university buildings, modern restaurants, night clubs to truly experience the blend of the old, historical and the new and modern. The walkways are broad and nice to walk on. Once there, I would suggest you explore the surroundings and take in the atmosphere. A good time to visit would be in the evening, then you can see the sun setting on your left as you look towards the city square with Poseidon on your back and look at how life celebrates itself on the streets...

Had a wonderful time at this heritage property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with a cozy bed. Sufficient for a single traveller. Lighting in the room could be better.

Breakfast was healthy and had options.

The location was superb with main shopping district close, Haga and the Haga Church very close, and the Gothenburg university about 700 mtrs away. Lovely park at the front and street lined with old beautiful apartments....
