Regardless of the particulars of the event itself, there's no denying that this building is impressive in its own right. The main cloakroom is, on its own, more capacious than many auditoriums and the clever floorplan of the upstairs foyer means those attending the Konserthus can mull around freely, with even full performances avoiding the dreaded feeling of claustrophobia all too typical to more traditional layouts. Read moreVery good acoustics and a well preserved building from its time. Enough room for everybody's coats and a nice little restaurant for an early dinner. For a place that is all about sound, the areas outside the main hall became almost unbearably noisy. These areas lack any measures of noise reduction, so hundreds of people talking in exaltation and expectation maybe after after a glass of wine, which is served in the bars raise a noise that gived a bad preparation for the concert. Read moreYou enter the concert hall from the top of Avenyn. Then you first enter a big room where you probably can hang your coat and visit the bathroom. The bathroom was fine. By walking up one stair you arrive at the different entrances.
The numbering of the chairs is a bit weird. If you can't find your number, try approach it from the other side of the room.
Chairs are comfortable, no food allowed, lightning and sound is great.
