Victorian Steampunk Lab — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

I am in love. This was one of my best experiences with a new restaurant so far. We had a lovely, very supportive service. The food was delicious and the kitchen was able to deliver even to my food cranky eater (my child) a special service. The cocktail was fancy and it looked awesome with the tiny bubbles and steam, that moved the little citron slice - I ordered just a cool looking cocktail so my daughter would be sitting there with big eyes. They wanted to go to this Steampuno themed restaurant sooo badly. And, oh my, I am so glad I fullfilled their wish on out last day here in Göteborg. The look of the restaurant is sweet and with a eye for details. The seats are super comfy and I will definitely come again on my next stay...

Cozy and cool atmosphere. Decent list of beers, and the drink have always been nice here. But the food and the service was a total let down... It took roughly 45mins for us to get our food, and the burger was luke warm. Fries with too much salt. All in all, I'd have a better burger on the other side of the street at 7:ans gatukök. Service then? Well, some of us had to turn in our chairs and really look at the staff in order to get some form of attention for ordering more to drink. Just to add to the story, this was on a tuesday at 5:30pm, and the place was almost empty. The only special about this place are their drinks, if they notice that you want to order that is. Great place to grab cocktails or a gin. They have hundreds of gin options to choose from. Cocktails are a little pricey but tasty and worth it.

My only issue with this place is the online ordering - if you don't have Swish, you can't pay. Which means long waits for a member of staff or grabbing their attention during peak times difficult.

Drinks usually arrive quickly though and can't fault them. They're delicious!

Atmosphere here was cosy and fun. Lots of people enjoying drinks and didn't find it too crowded or noisy. We enjoy the outside terrace as it's spacious and cosy with blankets and outdoor heaters.

Overall a great place to grab drinks...
