Bältespännarparken — Attraction in Göteborgs Stad

Cozy park by the river with statues, a fountain and more. We visited during the cultural festival so there were vendors galore and a stage with various bands playing.

I really liked the statue of the knife fighters, if only because my friend told me the favorite summer sport of Finland was knife fighting (he's Swedish) 😅

A busy centre full of locals and tourists thriving for some sunshine, I am amazed to know the locals are so eager to have their bodies exposed to sunshine...Large malls, foodies, ice creams etc. to feed the hungry and thirsty alike...Sea gulls making more noise like kith and kin...Monuments, fountains, road-side orchestral musicians, ballerinas, Isckon people chanting Hare Krishna bhajans, families on outing...Totally it's a mini universal culture and heritage...

Great park middle in the city for a break. If the weather conditions are good u could buy a meal or coffee nearby and have a good time. Close to the park there is kind of botanical garden and not far away you can find shops if you are looking...
