We were on vacation in Malmö and happened to come across RAU - rarely have I had such a wonderful dining experience! The food was simply fantastic! The menu has something for every taste: whether spicy, savory, umami, or sweet. We sampled a variety of dishes from the menu, and each one was a delightful surprise. Every bite was a pleasure!
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating without being intrusive. Since we only spent a weekend in Malmö, we asked them for additional restaurant and breakfast recommendations - they took extra time to advise us. And they did so with extreme friendliness and genuine kindness - really very, very nice! It was obvious that they care deeply about their guests' well-being.
The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, albeit a bit small - I would recommend to make a reservation. Nevertheless, the cozy atmosphere added to the charm of the place and made us feel very comfortable.
All in all, it was an unforgettable evening and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Absolutely...
Read moreUnfortunately we had a very disappointing experience: we had a reservation for 7 people and two babies at opening hour of the restaurant which was still empty. We were not allowed to sit outside because the rule is, not more than 6 people outside (space was more than enough, we even offered to squeeze on a bench or take two seperate tabels).. so they wanted us to sit inside, but we were not allowed to take the stroller of the sleeping baby with us. Unfortunately they also didn’t provide a baby chair. So there was no option to have dinner all together, as the mum with the sleeping baby couldn’t join. The worst part was that the way how the waitress talked to us was really unpolite - not trying to find a solution at all. She preferred us to leave.
Ao we left and had a very nice dinner in the Chinese restaurant...
Read moreInsanely delicious food, fast and kind service. We had the Vietnamese buns which super gooey and tasted like Vietnam (herbs, fried onion and vegan fish sauce). The kimchi came in a generous serving and was also good, but on the slightly sour and less spicy side (not our preference but still good!). The pepper chicken with Okra was perfect! The faux chicken had the slightly spongey and threaded texture, pretty reminiscent of chicken, the okra was good and the pepper sauce was really smokey and peppery at the same time - awesome dish! The star of the show was the Chow Fun noodles though - cooked to perfection with fried vegetables and assorted DELICIOUS mushrooms! 🍄 Would eat that every day if I could! Awesome place -...
