Shocking behavior – Waiter Riadh should not be working in hospitality
Our visit to this airport bar turned into an incredibly unpleasant experience, all because of a staff member named Riadh. One of us had a bottle of water—something harmless, especially considering the bar offers free tap water anyway. Riadh chose to handle this in the most unprofessional way possible: by aggressively confronting us, raising his voice, and even threatening to call security to have us removed. All over a bottle of water.
We felt pressured and uncomfortable, and only stayed because we didn’t want to cause a bigger scene. His tone was hostile, his attitude was arrogant, and his behavior was completely unacceptable.
This is not how you treat guests. Ever. Riadh’s actions were not just rude—they were threatening and intimidating. Someone like this should not be representing any business, let alone one in an international airport.
Management must take this seriously. If this is the kind of staff they allow to speak to customers, then they are complicit in ruining what could otherwise be a decent experience. Riadh is unfit for this job, and unless something changes, we won’t be returning—and we’ll advise others to avoid it as well.

It suffers from silicon valley syndrome, using technology where it is unneeded and unfitting. To order you have to use a website, accessed through a QR code on your table. This feels out of place in a restaurant with this price class and atmosphere. It completely takes service out of the equation, and the audacity to ask for tips after ordering through a website instead of a server. This sort of system would be better suited in a fast-food restaurant. To add to that, the system is rigid. If I wanted my bacon extra crispy or not crispy at all there appeared to be no option to customize.
The staff weren't unfriendly by any means, the short time we interacted with them. Sadly nobody welcomed us either.

Ham, cheese and mayo between 2 pieces of toasted bread with an egg on top, and a very mediocre salad on the side. You can easily make the same meal yourself for less than 5€. This could be a decent restaurant if the prices were reasonable. Until then, there is no reason to eat here. Furthermore, they ask for tips when you order instead of after the meal. This is comical.
