Bistroteket — Restaurant in Stockholm

If this is considered one of the best restaurants in Stockholm, I suggest an intensive course in hospitality and quality. The food is beyond scarce. The mashed potatoes are made from supermarket sachets, and the vegetables are crying for help, as they are barely green and tasteless. The tuna is a sad frozen piece from the Atlantic, priced as if it were Mediterranean bluefin tuna. The place was completely empty, which is telling. Perhaps this is because the staff is so rude that they drive you away, especially the blonde waiter with the beard, who really frightened me when calling me back. To top it off, while we were still drinking, the same waiter, in a very threatening manner, told me I had to leave because he wanted to go home, even though my reservation on The Fork was until 11:30 PM (it was 10.45PM). Very bad service, we walked in late on a Saturday night, without having a reservation. Nobody informed us that there was an extra fee of 150:- charged for the live performance,neither was it written anywhere at the menu. After getting the bill, I talked to the owner regarding that. He shouted at me that I was not in my country, that in Sweden things work differently and he threatened me that he would call the police to make me pay and throw me out of his place (which I regret for not calling them myself actually). I switched from english to swedish and tell him that what he just said has crossed the borderline of discrimination. Worst service I´ve had in a long time, and I realise reading the reviews that is not a rare experience here. We were here 6 months ago and had a good experience, so decided to go back for the night before New Years Eve, having booked a table for 2 at 19. We arrived in time, ordered at 19:15, drinks arrived at 19.25 and then we got our starters at 20.15 after having to remind them we existed. Main dish arrived at 20.45 and was not up to previous standard, my lamb was medium rare (I ordered medium) and my partners beef was medium (her ordered medium rare). We paid and left and had dessert elsewhere....
