Felt right at home visiting La Olita last night for the first time. Top shelf service and recommendations 😗👌

Nora was the best hostess ever - but I’m probably biased since I learned she is also a Bakersfield, CA girlie like me! If you are lucky, she will make you her signature spicy margarita 😄

I’m sure the entire menu is amazing, but our party ordered the coconut shrimp tacos, the fish tacos, and the birria quesadillas and everything was delicious. 🌮

Can also recommend grabbing a frozen margarita pitcher for the table as it’s a great value and so, SO good. Rimming the marg glasses with Tajín was a good touch! 🍹

First outdoor seated meal of the season! They have a nicely covered and heated patio facing a public park, which was great for people watching.

The customer service was great, especially one of the servers named, Felicia. All the staff were super friendly, welcoming and attentive.

The food was a hit and miss.

Miss: The nachos that came with melted cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole were a miss because the chips were unfortunately dry and hard. The chicken in the tinga de pollo quesadilla was dry and overcooked.

Hit: The chipotle fries were flavourful and loaded with sauce and toppings. Our favourite.

Absolutely love this place! It instantly transports you to a beach bar in Mexico—not just because of the food (which is genuinely delicious), but because of the whole vibe. The music, the products, even the plates—they’ve thought of every detail to create that laid-back, sun-drenched atmosphere. Sure, the decor might be a little extra, but it somehow works and adds to the charm.

The menu offers a great variety of food and drinks. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side for the portions, but hey—this is Stockholm after all.

My personal go-to? The totopos and carnitas....
