Fine dining with atmosphere and style!
This is certainly one of the best restaurants you can choose in Stockholm. It’s in every aspect very stylish and posh and this is as well true for the food. Every dish is an art creation, not only looking fantastic it also has the taste you expect when you see it. Regardless if fish or meat or something vegetarian, it is perfectly cooked and you will enjoy every bite of it. The food is accompanied from a nice selection of wine and at least my experiance was, recommendations are worth being taken.
Service is not always at the same level as the food served and it really depends if you where lucky with who is serving you. Dont get me wrong, all are very nice and friendly, but essentially you would expect the same level of perfection, as they handle the food.
However, it is fun being there enjoying the food, the wine, the atmosphere, some "eye candy" arround you (especially at dinner time) and to...
Read moreVisited the place in 2017 after reading an article about it being a "quiet" restaurant with spacious seating. I. e., a place for people wanting to have a good meal and conversation in a calm environment.
Went back in 2018 only to find out that the new owner had reverted back to the (unfortunate) common practice of playing music on high volume, with a more crowded table layout.
Food was bland, not particularly bad but not very good either. Service was unwelcoming, when I asked them to turn the music down I first got a "no", then a waiter promised to do something about it but nothing happened.
Hopefully, some day restauranteurs will realize that most dinner guests do not care about music playlists. We just want a good meal and talk with our company in a conversation friendly environment.
In short, I see no reason to visit this place. There are other restaurants in the area/price range that offer better food, environment...
Read moreWe’ve been there three times now and it’s been the same - really slow and, frankly, inattentive service. Even when the place is virtually empty, the staff manages to ignore you. Or maybe they’re just not aware of what an empty glass might mean. Walked past us several tines on all occasions without a glance. We were prepared to order another drink but decided against it. Speaking of drinks, even in a Michelin star restaurant, 300kr ($30) for a small (tulip glass) common, two ingredient cocktail (three if you count bitters) made with fairly common bar staples (whiskey, vermouth) is fairly ridiculous. Wanted to try the food there, but the slow, inattentive service made...
