I'll break down my review for clarity. The establishment is a beautiful, meticulously designed interior with great attention to detail, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the food didn't leave a lasting impression, though the quality of the raw ingredients was commendable. As a "krog," it falls short. The pricing for beer is exorbitant, leaving customers feeling overcharged, especially considering the small serving size—a 0.3 glass for 80kr or more is unreasonable. Even for those financially comfortable (like myself), it's hard to justify such steep prices for a standard beer. Thus, the deduction of two stars reflects this pricing disparity and the food. Despite these shortcomings, it's still a viable option for a date.

I recently dined at Hornsgatan Kvarterskrog and had a mixed experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining atmosphere. The interior was lovely, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches with hygiene articles and toothpicks in the toilets.

On the downside, I found the food to be just okay. The pasta lacked that special touch, and the meat was decent but nothing extraordinary. The rhubarb/strawberry dessert left me a bit puzzled as it seemed a bit weird, but the chocolate dessert was absolutely breathtaking!

Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. But this is where the positive things ends. The food is pretty uninspired and way too expensive for what it is. Think tourist trap and you know what you’ll get.

250:- for a steak sandwich with very little steak. The lack of meat is possibly a good thing as it was cooked to death, very chewy and of poor quality. 200:- for a grilled sandwich with gruyere cheese and ham. I guess 90% of the gruyere is replaced by regular cheap cheese as there were barely any gryuere taste.

There are lots of better alternatives...
