Thongwiset — Restaurant in Stockholm

PIECE OF HEAVEN!! Let me start off with the food which was top tier level! I’ve been to so many Thai restaurants around the world and this restaurant easily topped number 1. We had a lot food and everything was so tasteful, perfect in spices, the veggies are perfectly made and the sauces were phenomenal. Pad Thai with the fancy egg on, was most definitely the best pad Thai I’ve ever tasted, it literally melted in your mouth and you could taste all of the combinations of the dish. Ribs were amazingly done, just wow! From food presentation you would have thought I went to a fine dining. Food was as tasteful as how it looked.

Staff were very welcoming, sweet, friendly and giving us a lot of tips before heading there (with parking and booking table for 8 persons). Thank you again for your service!

Restaurant itself was small, but very cozy. If coming in bigger groups, I advise you to book a table before hands. We all loved it and will for sure be coming back whenever...

Very nice service and a welcoming little place, but did not at all deliver. This review is based on atake away (a la carte-prices, however cheap): The somtam had a great vinaigrette, but was smaller than a regular free side salad, like a pizza salad. It is almost as if they should have said ”tomato” instead of ”tomatoes” on the menu so you wouldn’t expect too many pieces. It was delivered with hot rice on the side, luckily?! The pad thai gai was also small but enough for a snack portion, however lacked flavours and was not stirred at all: two pieces of a fried egg, the noodles were all a lump on its own. Small sized restaurant with very few seats to comfortably eat without being given the idea that you have to leave after 1 hour or less because someone else made a reservation while you were eating.

Food was costly but delicious and beautifully plated. Water and the Sriracha sauce with other sauces on the table are free. On the table, you have different cutleries and many chopsticks to use.👍🏽
