Ino Izakaya — Restaurant in Stockholm

We tried this as we had heard positive reviews, but we did not have a good experience at all.

When we arrived to the restaurant we were the only ones there. The two girls behind the front desk, a blonde and a brunette, was having a private conversation for about 5 seconds until they acknowledged us. We did not get a smile. We had a reservation and were just told to take a seat since it was empty.

When we ordered my partner ordered a Corona Beer. He instead got a coca - cola in a glass. We said we did not want cucumber on our sushi as it is not in our preference, and just got an ugly stare from the waitress.

We were sat in the restaurant for 30 minutes before getting our food. There were about 4 other customers who came 10-15 minutes after us, who got their food before us.

We waited for 25 minutes until the blonde waitress came and checked on us, and saw that we had not gotten our food. During these 25 minutes she had come to us 3 times with food for other customers. It seemed like they did not know whos food were whos.

The food was okay - we ordered sushi with mango, and the mango pieces were hard and so big and not filled inside the sushi,, so they kept falling out of the rolls. Very inconvenient.

Disappointing service went from poor, to bad, to incompetent... Ordered the only desert on the menu... waited for 20+ minutes just to be asked if we still want it because it would take them another 15... (I guess it wasn't clear for them from the beginning that suddenly they got overwhelmed with orders - somehow the "takeaways" jumped the orders line?) And after we said "no, thank you, maybe next time" (SPOILER: HELL NO!) they couldn't even wait for us to leave before starting to clean the table (feeling rushed out, and it's not like the place was full and people waiting to be seated).

Note: At least check your receipt, the desert that never arrived was there, had to go back and openly complain just to receive a refund! (will have to keep an eye on the card to make sure the refund will actually arrive - for something that should NOT HAVE BEEN BILLED IN THE...

Stay away! The worst service I ever got in Stockholm!

We waited 20 minutes for the fondant we ordered (which is their only dessert in the menu) just for them to ask us if we still wanted it, because it was going to take another 15min to be ready.
