Semla’s day was a really good excuse for everyone to have as many semla as possible & we couldn’t miss the ⛵️. After Sébastien’s semla, Lillebrors Bageri was our next destination where their semla was said to be the closest to the 🇸🇪 traditional one. It’s so true & Lillebrors’ semla didn’t make us disappointed! Despite the unattractive outside looking compared to Sébastien’s one, semla from Lillebrors has a perfectly nostalgic taste 😻. More specifically, the almond paste has a very strong taste of cinnamon with a lot of small almond pieces, & the unsweetened whipped cream, though not fluffy as Sébastien’s semla, was well whisked to have a certainly thick & packed texture. Also, don’t let the outside of the bun which seems to be hard & dried cheat you! It’s actually due to the freshly cracked cardamom which was mixed in the flour & then found in every centimeter of the 🥯. We ensure that you’d be impressed with the high level of moisture & softness of the bun after your very first bite 🤤. So, if you have a craving for semla with an exactly traditional taste, Lillebrors is definitely a bakery for you! Believe in us & we never let you 👎! P/s: It’s a small bakery & mainly for take-away! 💰Pastries ~ 40 SEK/each. 👍🏻 Location 9/10 - Space 6/10 – Pastries 8/10 – Price 8/10 – Service 8/10.

Read moreWonderful bakery! If this isn't the best in Stockholm, I don't know what is.
At first I had a small conflict with the bread they make since I thought the first day that it was not cooked well, but no! They do it like this! It is their way of making bread and once you overcome your prejudices and give them the opportunity to understand what they do you realize that they are right, they make excellent bread! An incredible, moist and delicious flavor that stays fresh for a long time, 10/10 here!
But that's not all! The sweets are to cry with joy... I have tried to try the best sweets in Stockholm and I have found great places! very attractive, affordable, very... "instagrammable" but they were always missing something... I didn't know how to explain it but this place has that something special, and the way I have to express it is that it tastes like grandma's food! My grandmother never made me kanelbulle in my life, nor cardamum bulle, but if she had made them at some point I am sure they would have been the same as they make them here, and that is what in my opinion this place offers! It offers food that fills your soul, they are sweets that feel like a hug in your heart and no other place in Stockholm can do that :)
Of course, the coffee can be very improved guys! Still well...

Good sourdough bread with good crust and fresh crumb.
Good value for money, but a few issues urgently to solve: There is no labels on anything. Not a problem, but then I expect the staff to know what the produce is!
We ordered several breads and pastry, wanted to know a bit more about the items like what the service called “Korgbröd” (Basket Loaf), what flour used, is it sourdough, what weight? Staff had no idea, had to ask a colleague and also couldn’t answer to it. Asked if a baker should help. I said no it’s alright.
Some salty crackers and sweet cookies at the cashier. No information on what it is and staff didn’t know. No informations on allergens ether. Dangerous!
The interior is special. You have this roof with wooden shingles on top of all displays. No lighting for products under the roof, but just spotlights from behind us customers, so you really have lots of shadows.
The ventilations from the oven doesn’t seem to work and I feel sorry for the bakers/service standing in that space filled with steam and smoke. The ceiling colors have gone dark brown and I wonder how they are allowed to keep this place running like that.
There are two benches outside to eat a bun, but it is effectively just a take out...
