NOFO Wine Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

While I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I didn't really enjoy the wine bar. Yes, it's a great looking space and the outside courtyard seemed very inviting when we arrived in the late afternoon. Yes, it was busy, but there were certainly enough waiters - they just didn't really seem to fancy welcoming us and telling us where we could sit. There were two empty seats outside, but once we actually managed to get one of the service staff to notice us, she told us we couldn't sit there. She didn't offer any further details nor an alternative, so we went and had drinks somewhere else. Returning from dinner, we forgot to check the time, and thought we'd have a quick tipple before turning in for the evening, so sat down inside. We weren't the only patrons and again there were enough staff present. A lady cleaned the table next to ours. I looked at her and smiled. She looked at me and smiled. She continued cleaning. I looked at her again and nodded my head encouragingly. She nodded back and continued cleaning. I finally said "Excuse me, can we order?", which got her talking and she informed us that the kitchen and bar had closed 10 minutes ago. Fair enough, fair enough, but why let guests sit down and clean around them for minutes on end, if you could tell them right away? Odd story. Breakfast the next morning saw the outlet in a better light service-wise, but in the afternoons and evenings, I was left with the distinct impression that it's appearance over...

We were staying upstairs at the hotel during our trip to Stockholm, and decided to stop in for dinner NoFo Wine Bar. Hotel bars aren’t always this good, but this one totally blew us away. Really nice place to eat and the food is tasty.

Too be honest it is like Fine Dining Tapas even though me and my friend got filled with a medium sized meal each and a small charcuterie board too share. We had eaten something small just before that though.

In the end I am happy about the meal and had a good chance too enjoy some good food and company...
