It was an experience we really didn't expect. You walk into the store: everything is colourful! Playful! You order the sushi and the gyoza and sit down in one of the few seats. There is so much to see! The eye just doesn't get tired. Then comes the food. Buttery fish, crispy dumplings, generous rolls; the best nigiri and sushi in general I have eaten in years. It was also my friends first time to eat sushi - he was convinced! And the eye eats too. The decoration on the plate is an art in itself. You can see and taste the love and effort that is offered to you. Truly unique! But then it happened: there was an accident. I accidentally broke a glass and severely cut myself. It bled a lot. The competent service knew immediately what to do and treated my finger with a special powder. It worked. It must have been something really special. My finger is fine again. I am truly grateful for the extremely helpful and attentive service. Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course. But everything was right here! 11/10 points!

I came to Ohako for the almost-perfect reviews after a few hours strolling along lovely Stockholm-Solna walking paths. It was actually a very quaint, charming place, with probably less than five spots for seating--definitely intimate. The ambience is decidedly chaotic and Japanese (IFYKYK). The lady at the counter was a pleasant Korean (kamsahamida she said when I left) who was prompt with the orders. Food was lovely. Miso soup was wonderful. The broth was mild and refreshing. I'm almost certain it wasn't from a pack. Bonus points for the lovely piece of mussel in it. I ordered the maki Bento (195 sek--expensive for an Asian but typically priced here) and was impressed by the flavors. Yakitori and the beef were punchy, while the salmon was delightfully fresh. Seeing the other pictures here, will definitely be back for the rest.

Authentic Japan place in Stockholm. Small place close to downtown in Stockholm, with in my opinion the best sushi in the city, at least at this range of prices. We were there and we ordered a mix of sushi and a few gyozas. The gyozas had a super good taste, and the texture also was perfect. The sushi was delicious, with a perfect ratio between rice and fish. All the ingredients were top quality. I recommend this place a lot, a hidden treasure in Stockholm.

Just the cutest place tucked away in the corner. They take care in decorating with such creativity and you can entertain yourself with fun games on the table. The sushi is delicious made with love and giving attention to the preparation so each bite is just right. I dined with a friend and we were very pleased with the food and the service. Speaking of service, they are incredibly gracious towards their customers with a bow and smile, making you feel very welcomed and...
