It is always nice to find unique restaurants, especially in such a mainstream city like Stockholm. Entering the place I knew nothing about it. It was really fun to see they serve ”kugel”, an oldschool dish we have in Lithuania here in Östermalm and in a sort of tiny version with lumpfish roe, a combo my grandma would never believe could exist. My chicken confit was under ”main courses” and the presentation was, well, quite intersting. I think it would be good if the waiters could ask whether you are here for the first time and explain the whole idea behind and the menu, as for the New York deli concept I would expect a different portion size and price ratio as some mentioned. Well, I got overexcited even typing this, as it immediately evoked all the memories of visiting this charming venue.
Don’t get me wrong—the place is about the main course too. I usually go for one of those delicious sandwiches. Always good and fresh.
I am also a big fan of their aesthetic. It’s so cinematic that sometimes I just want to sit there, absorb the vibe, and think that I’m the main character.
