Hidden gem in Uppsala. Not as famous as other cafes, but it still worths a visit because of its homely and cozy environment. I don’t understand why some people here complained about the furnitures. This cafe has a long history, so as the furnitures. And thanks to these antique furnitures, the place looks more cozy and homely. So, nothing to complain at all.

The coffee served there is not fresh. It's sitting in a jar, cooking for hours. In addition, the place is DIRTY. They keep the lights low so you don't see the torn seats and the filthy stained carpets and tables. I don't understand why they don't try to upgrade it a bit and keep it proper. I guess people are willing to pay for dirty seats and third-rate coffee, and this gives no incentive to the owners to clean the place and serve good coffee. And, no, it's not cheap. Even dirt costs. This place was amazing. I was walking to meet a friend and I had some time to get there. So I stopped in. And wow!!!! The fruktwiener (fruit bread) and the Rhubarb one were Delicious!!! I would suggest this place for the desserts alone. And the owner is wonderful and really kind and has put a lot of energy into the decor of the place, this place is super cool, vintage and beautiful.
