Bubenberg Take Away — Restaurant in Bern

This place truly deserves five stars. The meat is absolutely excellent — you can immediately tell it's real, high-quality meat and not the usual processed stuff you find in many kebab shops. It's juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

There’s a bit of space outside where you can sit and enjoy your food, which makes the experience even better, especially on a nice day.

What really makes the difference, though, is the staff. They’re not just polite — they’re genuinely warm and friendly, which creates a great vibe from the moment you walk in.

As a Neapolitan chef, I can confidently say this place respects good food and good service. I’ll definitely be back.

I can’t eat carbs so I ordered a box with no fries but I expect a little extra meat in exchange for no fries. What I got today was a scoop of meat (20-30g) three scoops of lettuce, tomatoes and yogurt. A sprinkle of meat on top of that. I possibly had a total of 40g of meat. That’s like nothing. The big guy serving the food didn’t have any interest in what he was doing. There was zero eye contact, no customer service. Best Kekab and Doner I have eaten in this city, forget Little Istanbul in Westside shopping center and other Turkish restaurants... here it’s cheaper (starting at 10CHF), it’s bigger, it’s juicer, has more seasoning and spices, the t have a really nice spicy pepper to add if you want and above all it’s supper fast.
