This is really far from Scandinavian hospitality...We had a reservation for 3 (1 of us is a 2year old) on a Sunday morning. We were there on time, but due to a misunderstanding we had to cancel our reservation. I asked the the boss and he told us it was fine. Later we received an e-mail with an invoice of 90.- no show fee (30.- for each, even for a 2year old!!!) because we have obviously accepted some terms of conditions... This is ridiculous - especially because we were there on time and explained what happened and the boss told us it was fine and did not mention at all that we will have to pay 90.-!!! We will certainly never go back and neither will our family and friends. Sad for them - because they could have made much more money than 90.- with all our...

Came to Jul twice during our stay in Bern and had a wonderful experience both times. The first time, we came for an aperitif before dinner. They have a creative cocktail menu and are clearly innovating in the space. The second time, we came for lunch. The avocado toast was incredibly impressive. I've had so many iterations of avocado toast over the years, but this one really stood out. It was seasoned with different spices in an imaginative way I've never seen before, and the presentation was stunning.

They have a lovely outdoor terrace, with different types of tables and chairs. Very pleasant.
