Lo stuzzichino da Mohan — Restaurant in Bern

We were looking for a place to have dinner and ended up here. The kindness of the waitresses and the delicious food made us really enjoy the evening. The pasta was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The desserts (tiramisu and panna cotta) were homemade and absolutely worth trying.

We didn’t book a table, thus we had to eat inside. But they have a nice terrace too.

For sure next time we come to Bern we...

The rose pasta was delicious and a good sized portion, but with very poor service. Maybe it’s because we’re English-speaking tourists with a small child, but the server was not friendly, never asked if we wanted a drink, and didn’t give any bread, cheese or salt/pepper, which we saw at every other table as we were leaving. I might as well have saved 2F and gotten...

Wunderschönes, einfaches Lokal mitten in der Altstadt. Wie oft bin ich hier wohl vorbei gelaufen und habe es nicht entdeckt. Die Auswahl ist vom Inhalt typisch Italienisch, aber nicht vom Aufbau nach Primi und Secondi etc. Praktisch für ein Business Mittagessen aber schwieriger für das Abendessen auf den ersten Blick. Wenn man aber frägt bekommt man auch einen "vollwertigen" Pastagang als Primi serviert und kann sich dann nach einen vollen Secondi gönnen. Das Carpaccio vom Schwertfisch fühlt sich an wie ein Biss ins frische Meer. Super. Auch wenn kein Käse auf der Karte, wird auf Anfrage ein Stück Parmesan gereicht. Die Qualität des Essens ist solide.
