Hollyfood Take-away — Restaurant in Bern

This is the BEST sandwich you'll ever have. I've been going here since it opened, and make a point to visit whenever i'm back in Bern. I used to get the chicken schnitzel with barbecue sauce, but since turning vegetarian I now have the falafel and aubergine sandwich (also barbecue sauce- its the best!). All the sauces are homemade, the barbecue sauce isn't what you think - its a bit spicy, not sweet or sticky at all. The owner is such a wonderful person, he remembers me since I was small and often will throw in a little deal. 10/10 I recommend this place...

Wow! Just awesome place and so reasonable, very clean. The owner was just so wonderful and the way he understood what kind of sandwich was good for us. It turned out to be one of the best lunch I had in days. I watched him work and he was so efficiently handling multiple task but still fast enough to serve us. Also, I watched him continuously cleaning the work table as well as enjoying his work and preparing the sandwich with style :)

We came here because of their highly rated reviews and were not disappointed... turned out to be a unique and enjoyable sandwich experience for us!

We went with their most popular one with the fried chicken and their recommended sauce combo (which i think were the garlic mayo and bbq). Very nice!! Would want to go back to try other menus & thier wide selection of sauces.
