Restaurant Engehalde — Restaurant in Bern

This is the staff restaurant of the Swiss postal service, or to be precise, the IT-service of the swiss postal service (and PostFinance and PostAuto).

So it's not supposed to be a high quality restaurant. But you can eat there as an outside person too. Usually there are three servings: standard, vegetarian and chef's choice. Then there's a self-service buffet as well. The price is really fair, the food is okay and for a staff restaurant it's quite nice. Furthermore there is a little café in the restaurant as well where you can drink a fair cup of coffee/tea and have a piece of patisserie.

Food is really inconsistent. Sometimes very good sometimes just not good at all. Worst of all are the covid measurements. Went here with 3 people (all vaccinated and working in close proximity). We werent allowed to eat together since its 2 person per table. The "health and safety measurements" person even came to our table to tell us. We even have the f'ing safety measures from the state which stated last wednesday that the restriction of person per table is no...
