Kind of a landmark in Locarno, a place where people leaving or visiting the city will visit for sure. A nice placed and set terrace, with cozy benches and small tables just outside on the sidewalk. A pretty straight forward offering on a light breakfast with fresh pastries and some healthy options too. Good place to start the day and continue it with a long walk alongside the lake. Must visit when in Locarno. The place has a « sister/brother » location just in the main square with some delicious offerings. The sweet ones you know they are super tasty...

Nice cafe. The seating is comfortable and the cafe is clean. I waited quite a while to be served and then to receive my order, the cafe was not very full. The big negative was that I later found out they gave me the wrong cake, even after I asked again to make sure it’s vegan. Sadly it wasn’t vegan- so please beware if you have allergies or intolerances!! (I found out because I wanted to buy the same cake a few days later in the shop upstairs and there I was told it is definitely not vegan) they do have other vegan options so I am really not sure...
