For quality assurance I separate the review in staff, location and food/price as each has individual aspects.
Staff: The staff were rather friendly at the time we arrived. We were told we need to wait a bit as we didn't have a reservation. We waited about 10 minutes until we got a table for two which is fair. The orders were taken upon a bit slow in my opinion but I assume this came because we were at the busiest time. Staff was professional, kind and nice but as mentioned I think they could have been a but more attentive. 4/5 for that.
Location: Location of the restaurant was very good. It was located on two separate parts one across the street with a very good view onto the lago maggiore while the other half was located just next to the street with a moderate view. The restaurant itself seemed very clean but a bit oldschool in furniture inside. 4/5
Food/Price:
For food we had as a starter tomato cream soup which was very tasty. It seemed to have fresh tomato and cream in it and was still hot when served. It tasted refreshing and creamy just as a good tomato soup should. Price was fair for the amount of soup and the quality of it.
As main dish we had pizza diavola and pizza prosciutto. The pizza dough was very thin which was why it was a bit too soft in my opinion. The crust of the dough was very crusty and tasty. The tomato sauce was in my opinion a bit blend but the spicy salami of the diavola fixed that. It was not too greasy which was very good. The prices for the pizzas were 17.00 and 17.50 for a pizza around 35cm which is very a fair price.
4/5
To sum it up I would give the restaurant a 4/5. I think it is also very childfriendly but I recommend making a reservation before heading there as otherwise you need to wait a fair amount of time.
I personally would go...

Let's be real, we were ravenous. Our stomachs were growling a whole symphony by the time we strolled in. Luckily, Google maps (praise the algorithmic heavens!) saved us from a "hangry meltdown" situation. Turns out, like most places, they ditch the lunch menu right before 3 pm. No worries though, they were super chill about it!
The food itself? Solid 4.2 out of 5 stars. It definitely hit the spot and fueled our famished forms. But you know what REALLY took things up a notch? The legendary Swiss atmosphere. 🇨🇭 Think cozy vibes, friendly faces, and a general feeling of pure contentment.
So, while a perfect 5 might be reserved for meals that blow your taste buds out of the stratosphere, this place offered a delightful, satisfying experience that left us feeling happy and well-fed. Would definitely recommend – just maybe aim for a pre-3 pm arrival if you're sporting a serious case of the...
Read moreThe food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant, even though we didn’t sit by the lake. Unfortunately, the service left us disappointed. We arrived about two hours before the restaurant’s closing time, but our waiter seemed in a rush from the beginning. When we tried to order the spaghetti carbonara, he sighed and mentioned it might be too late, which felt unwelcoming. At the end of the meal, instead of asking if we would like dessert, the bill was placed directly on the table.
I completely understand that restaurants may have internal closing routines and want to finish earlier, but this should not affect the way guests are treated. A bit more courtesy would have made the experience much better, especially given the quality of the food and the...
