Al Porto is present in several places across Locarno and Ascona.

The carrot cake was too sweet from our point of view and we were missing some nuts and crunchiness.

The coffees were too bitter (even the one with veggie milk).

The pistachio croissant 🥐 is a bomb. Very enjoyable for breakfast but too much for brunch. It feels like a combination of a croissant and a pistachio(ice)cream.

They indicate when products are lactose free and they have veggie sandwiches and salty quiches that they warm up for you.

The staff was kind in all the shops where we’ve been and their locations are so convenient.

The panatones are probably one of the best...

Cute, no-fuss cafe, part of a local chain (another one is 1min away around the corner, on the lake side). Cakes and pastries are delicious, sandwiches also very good, and they also have smoothies and their own brand of ice creams and sorbets, which we enjoyed as well.
