The food was very disappointing. A so-called mixed salad consisting of chopped green salad and some grated carrot. The whole trout was extremely pickled and served with chopped green lettuce, which was sandy. The brasato was tender but the porcini and sauce were much hotter and had obviously been heated in the microwave, as had the clump of tasteless polenta. The waiter was apologetic when we complained. Ok, I’m a little bit disappointed about other reviews. I can’t say anything about other dishes, but: Bruschetta was outstanding, it was first time for me that bruschetta is made without basic chopped tomatoes salad. Crunchy brown bread, cherry tomatoes in some sort of marinade. Really good. And Filetto. In my opinion, it was the best beef filet that I had here in Switzerland. Waiting time was a little bit too long and the guy was alone(maybe they needed more personal, but at this no-season time I completely understand).

And also can’t but mention the inner terrace this hanging grapes as a roof - really...

Avoid avoid avoid... terrible service! We were waiting for 20 minutes for the waiters to even acknowledge we were waiting for a table. The only reply to our request for a table was a waiter pointing to the indoor area with any other explanation provided. Inside, after 15 minutes of waiting to get the menu and several attempts calling the waiters we decided to leave. Worst experience in the Locarno...
