Bistrot & Pizza Argentino — Restaurant in Circolo di Lugano ovest

Stumbled across this place because we were getting hungry. The restaurant as we entered and were shown to our table seemed to have a particular odour like onions or something stale,not very pleasant, we also noticed that the floor was carpeted and looked a bit shabby and distressed, had seen a lot or wear and tear. The staff were friendly and eager to help, looked a bit worn out, like the carpet. The service was was very well rehersed and a bit routine. We were having second thoughts, but we ordered, and then the food arrived. We ordered green salad, some rocket and lettuce leaves in a bowl undressed does not warrant that amount of money that they charge. The Pizzburgers we ordered with French fries, I can say we're very tasty, the beef cooked very well, medium in this case. The bread was freshly made from pizza dough they told us, very nice, burger was great. The spaghetti bolognaise was very nice as was the rissotto and pizza. The smell eventually went away or I think we got used to it. All in all the food was good with some nice touches, but the smell and look of the restaurant was not nice, needs some work, it's a shame that nice food is served in this environment??? Not...

Terrible Experience - Don't Bother Going Here Yo, I just had the worst time at this restaurant. The service was absolute trash, start to finish. When I first got there, there wasn't even anyone to greet us or show us to a table. We had to just wander around and find a spot ourselves. Then when I tried to order, I kept calling over the waiters but they'd just be like "okay" and then never actually come back with my order. I swear I tried flagging down every single server there, but nothing. And when my drink finally showed up, it was completely undrinkable. I asked for some ice to cool it down but they never brought any.The final straw was when I went to pay the bill. I had to wait forever just to get someone to bring me the check. The whole checkout process took ages, it was ridiculous. Bottom line, this place has some major issues with their service. The staff are completely indifferent and don't seem to care about helping customers at all. Honestly, save yourself the hassle and just avoid this place. There are way better dining options around that actually know how to treat their patrons right. I'm definitely not going...

Food is average and i could say below average. The only thing that i gave 2 stars, because I've ordered Fish risotto, and i stated a Fish risotto and the man who took the order said yes fish one we can make it, but what i received a mixed seafood risotto, Which i am not into it, even though, I've been charged for non touched mix seafood risotto order, and when i told the servants what i did order, he stated yes fish mean mixed seafood!!! How it comes? Mix seafood is different than fish or shrimps or prawns or octopus or calamari! that we call mixed seafood, not fish itself mixed seafood, alao they have in the menu a dish called fried mix seafood which was a true mix of sea fruits..

Anyway that could be a different names for different things between different cultures. But yeah no one offers replacement neither removing the cost...
