It's remarkable to find an authentic and high-quality restaurant so close to a "touristic" center. It was wonderfully refreshing to be presented with a chalkboard menu, limited in quantity only, with a depth of choice more than sufficient to cover any desires. Adding witness to the freshness of the food produced, for instance, we had a desire for mozzarella and were informed, "That was last night." Where the menu is brief, the wine list is extensive, with many wines being offered by the glass. The meals themselves (pasta and salads) were perfection. The Panna cotta, simply the best (says my wife), personally I felt it too "stiff", either way the yasye was divine. Attentive, respectful and helpful staff rounded out a wonderful evening. Read moreThis was a disappointing restaurant/wine bar. The first day we came, we were able to sit there for couple hours enjoying a bottle of Italian red wine. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to come back the next day for some different wines and have dinner. We were told that dinner wasn’t until 7 so we decided to have some wine anyway and have dinner later. Finished the first glass of wine and waited to order another. After 15-20 minutes of no one coming out, we decided that it wasn’t worth it trying to stay for dinner. We were wearing comparable attire to the other seated patrons and there was at least one open table. We asked for a table for two in English and we were promptly turned away with the simple “No service” with no elaboration. This was very disappointing and quite frankly rude.
