If you are American DO NOT GO HERE They don’t like you!!!! We ate here this evening, 9/7/2025 we were treated very different from the locals We were with another couple we met on our trip and when the bill came we handed them two credit cards to split the bill They waiter made a comment to another waiter that we wanted the bill split and the other waiter or I actually think he was the owner , says to other local customers stupid Americans and they all laughed Well excuse me……. We just met this couple and shouldn’t be ridiculed for wanting to pay separate…… especially when neither of us had enough local currency on us. very rude people in in this restaurant PS- don’t assume Americans don’t understand your language!!!!! I will be informing our hotel who recommended you, and also the tour...

We wanted to stay for a coffee and pastries because the location/restaurant was beautiful. Unfortunately the service was really, really lacking. The person said no more coffee after 12, so we decided to leave. Unfortunately, when I went to the bar, I discovered that they WERE serving coffee. This was surprising to learn after the waiter almost lectured me that he wasn't going to give me anything. This was also the most amount of money I paid for water, 8 francs! Double compared to some places. Unfortunately this was the biggest mistake we had on our trip, not only did we get lectured on coffee and overcharged for water, it took them forever to even notice us.

Had a great Saturday night family dinner here on May 17th. And when I say family dinner, I mean 16 of us. Just the mere fact that they were able to accommodate us all was surprising, but then the food was also great and the service and the personalities of the staff that took care of us was even better and made the experience that much better. I'm not sure if Alessandro is the owner, one of the owners or a manager, but he was so attentive and personable that it really made the night. In fact, while we were walking by a night or two later after the restaurant had closed, we ran into him out front and sat around shooting the shit with him for 10 minutes.
