Ripp-off?! Visiting Geneva today after 20 years - we used to live in Geneva at Plainpalais early 2000 - we went again to our favorite Pousse-Pousse. With our sun the three of us a Sushi selection for 2 persons (58.-) 3 cold green Tea, one desert, one coffee and one half of a roasted Duck for 50.- (for takeaway without anything to bring home. We did this often in the past). The total bill was a steep 138.-, but we thought what can you say after 20 years. The roasted duck was handed over to us wrapped and when were back home in the German part of Switzerland we were astonished to find only meagre 400gr of Duck (with bones of course). Sorry to say, but for us this was a complete ripp-off. We certainly will not come again. To be fair, it's not the same owner anymore than 20 years ago. Good luck. Thomas & Vivian
PS. Thank you for your answer. Maybe we didnât make ourselves clear. We are ONLY complaining about selling us ONE portion of roasted duck for takeaway for 50.-. Itâs up to everyone else to judge if this is cheap or expensive. We feel itâs super expensive.
We DO NOT complain about sushi, drinks or deserts which we had and which were ok and they were all on the menu card (the roasted duck wasn't). And we ARE NOT comparing prices with...
Read moreOur family of 6 had a really pleasant experience at this restaurant. The lady staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Service was quick and staff was very attentive. Had a great chat with her which made the meal even more enjoyable. As we're tourists, she also recommended places for us to visit.
We were served the spicy mala peanuts as snacks which was very addictive. The mains were full of flavour and tasted great, especially the Pad Thai which was well-balanced between sweet and savory, and Beef Fried Rice with tender beef and amazing aroma. Overall, itâs a nice spot for a relaxed meal with good food and...
