La Citadelle — Restaurant in Geneva

A must if you visit Geneva and you like metal music. I don’t know how I missed this place last time I visited the city but this time around I found this gem which had a positive impact on my view about the city. Great welcoming atmosphere. Visited last night (Saturday) for my 1st time and will be going back. It got busy around 9.30pm. Bar staff were friendly and helpful (and coped well with my ordering in bad French). Good selection of alcohol. The music selection seemed a little random, but some good metal tunes amongst them. By far our favorite place we've been to in Geneva. Bought a Tool sweater, drank excellent beer, and had a wonderful conversation with the owner (I believe?) about Tool and volcanoes. We were even given snacks to compliment our beers. Extremely welcoming environment with a cool aesthetic and great atmosphere.
