La Terrasse — Restaurant in Geneva

AVOID this place like the plague. We visited in the evening and were ignored at the bar by the staff who were too busy talking amongst themselves. When we did manage to get their attention it was because they were about to serve someone who had jumped the queue. When confronted the barman was hostile but did serve us . He then overcharged us by more than 20 Francs. He was then challenged by one of our guests who was local and he admitted he had deliberately overcharged us. We left the bar with no apology. This was such a great, crowded, sort of rowdy place! The views are great if you can get a spot along the rail facing the lake. Service was quick even with a crowd at the bar. This was a drinks only stop so I can't comment on the food taste, but the plates passing by looked appetizing.

The drink menu has a wide selection of adult beverages, wines, local and regional beer, and many non-alcoholic selections. This would be an amazing place to bring a big group of friends and lounge around on the grass or at the tables!

La Terrasse is a great, romantic place to have a drink and relax! It is right on the edge of lake Geneva, so you could put your feet in the water (that feels pretty good.) La Terrasse is not that loud, and it is completely outside, therefore the atmosphere is outstanding! They do not only sell alcoholic beverages, they sell Sirop, your kids will adore Sirop, take my word for it. Sirop is a juice, but watered down, still with the taste.
