Le Mexicain — Restaurant in Geneva

I had the pleasure of dining at Le Mexicain in Geneva, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of outstanding – attentive, warm, and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

As for the food, the tacos were a delightful surprise. Made with real corn tortillas, they had that authentic taste that’s hard to come by, bursting with fresh and bold flavors. The chimichangas were simply delightful – crispy on the outside, yet soft and flavorful on the inside. One of the standout dishes was definitely the gambas a la diabla – perfectly cooked shrimp with just the right amount of heat to keep you coming back for more.

We couldn't resist trying the tres leches for dessert, and it did not disappoint. It was moist, rich, and the perfect sweet end to an amazing meal.

Gem of a Mexican place. Be it an evening with friends or family or even as a couple, this place is a very causal joint in Center of Geneva. Bus D or tram 14 from Bel Air takes you straight to this place. Very flavourful food and especially beef dishes. Chicken is kind of very flat for a Mexican touch. One of the hottest sauces you can find in Geneva or Switzerland. Citron Margarita was very nice and compliments food. I am not a big fan of wine with Mexican food. It goes with beer or Margaritas. I rarely give 5 stars for food in Geneva. This place really is too tasty for Geneva. Best maxician food in Geneva. Food is absolutely tasty and delicious. And now I see why it's always fully booked at weekends. It has a lovely terrace and indoor seats. The food we started with nachosg and was tasty a bit spicy for me. Then, for main, we had enchiladas and stakes, and both were so tasty. The drinks I was so happy to have a sugar-free virgin mojito, which is not always easy to find sugar-free drinks in restaurants. I highly recommend this place and would live to come again. Not to forget, it is kids...
