When you go in, you are greeted by a splash of bright flowery decorations, with a slightly brutalist grey background, along with a sturdy man with a bunny tattoo bidding you welcome. You are seated on an izakaya-style table island, with a numbered menu with a surprising amount of variety and influences, going from thaï street food, to fried seitan, to japanese-style marinated aubergines. I must say the presentation was pristine, and everything tasted AMAZING, albeit a bit sweet. It seem the place is managed by two people, and they were kind to us and very efficient It is quite the trendy place, and probably perfect for a vegan date; I'd recommend however to make a reservation first, because they chose quality over quantity space-wise and it's easily fully booked. As a post scriptum, they have a toilet downstairs, which were very cosy and they even had the delicate attention of having a jar of tampons for people needing it. I vigorously recommend that place

This restaurant was definitely not for me. I understand what they were going for with their dishes, and they were undoubtedly well made. However, I felt that trying to closely imitate the authentic dishes this menu was based on, but in vegan form, I thought that this didn’t quite work. The quality and preparation of the food were excellent though. I visited with a large group, and I wouldn’t recommend doing that. The tables had to be pushed together which made the space cramped, and the plates were too small for some of the larger dishes that were served. Personally, I also wasn’t a fan of the lighting and atmosphere, particularly the dim and colored lighting. In conclusion, the service and food quality were great; this just wasn’t my cup of tea, and it wasn't the staff’s fault. Overall, it’s not a bad restaurant and I would recommend it to others who are vegan or want to try something different. Dessert was really good, and the staff were kind.

Sunday brunch. It was crowded, mostly expats. Yellow. Decoration is funny in a bad painting way. Service was efficient and friendly. Shared most of the brunches options. It was good overall, the waffles and mushrooms were a bit too sweet for my taste. But the fried mushroom were well executed. The pancake stack was kind of mushy, the black sesame paste had melted with the batter. Coffees were good. Again, I love my brunch to have some kind of freebie (just for the sake of it) and this one has no "formula" of any kind. Still, if you are into this kind of food, go for it. (A lot of the reviews here seems to be for their previous location, judging from the pictures.)

Overall: Good food, but slowest service I have ever had in a restaurant. 2.5+ hours we spent in the restaurant for only half of our food to be served.

Context: I booked a table for 5 people including some friends visiting from out of town for brunch on a Sunday. It was not standard brunch menu, but Eritrean pop-up menu being served.

Pros: Food that made it to our table was very tasty and interesting.

Cons: Had to wait over 2.5+ hours (between 11:30 and 14:00) for only half of our food to be served. This would have been a kinder review if the server was upfront and honest about problems in the kitchen. But our server did not want to immediately admit there was an issue and pretended that all food was received as per our order. This was not correct, and the service team only admitted their fault and apologized after we complained very strongly about the extremely slow service. Despite the problems, we were initially told there would be no discount on our bill, but they did give us a CHF50 gift voucher on our next visit to be split between 5 people. When we went up to pay at the till, they did also give 10% off the meal. Lastly, there was a very friendly member of the management team at the till, who overheard our grievances and was very kind and wanted to rectify the situation. But at this point our friend who had paid for the group had left and honestly at almost 3 hours at the restaurant we just wanted to leave. In the end, two of my friends went home to cook omelets as they were still hungry, so not the best value for money and no one can give me back the time I wasted waiting.

I hope this type of service is a one off and only occurring for the special menu and not for the standard weekend brunch menu that is...

I hate leaving bad reviews for vegan restaurants, but we left disappointed and hungry after dinner. We ordered two “to share dishes and two taco plates for a party of 4. The tacos were delicious, but there are only 2 small tacos per plate. The “to share” dishes were a noodles dish and another that we ordered a side of rice for. Both dishes were very small. One “to share” dish would be enough for one person’s light lunch. Both of the “to share” dishes tasted ok, but not great. There simply was not enough food for us after spending about $100 (no drinks). I know restaurants have to carefully manage their costs, but adding three times more noodles or a larger side of rice would cost them less than $1. Anyway, if you just need a little snack, the tacos were tasty, but cost about $10 per taco. Edit to respond to owner: We are aware of the costs in Geneva. There is probably additional disappointment because when you say “to share” this sounds like it is enough volume to share, similar to family-style eating that is typical in many Chinese or Italian restaurants. If you are serving “tapas”, then it should say “tapas” or “small bites”. The server also never said anything to us when we ordered that amount. And while I can see the ingredient and labor cost to make the tacos, the “to share” plates could be larger with addition of less expensive noodles or rice. And while the flavor of the tacos seemed very well-crafted, the “to share” plates were disappointing. To give everyone an idea: if you are ordering only tacos, it would be more appropriate to have 4 orders per person, as there are no filling sides, just 2 tacos. Increased to 4 stars, but that only applies...

Despite the cool decoration and very original dishes, the price is excessive as it is not aligned to the size of the portions. We were a group of 4 and it was our first time in the restaurant, so one of the waitress convinced us that the best was to get the formula of 7 -VERY- small dishes for 45 CHF, the rule of this formula is that ALL the table table must get the same (so each person needs to pay 45CHF). When we received the first dish we realized that the portions we were served were the same size than the table next to us composed of only 2. In that exact moment we raised the point to one waiter and he tried to prove us wrong, instead of acknowledging and providing a solution. Noting also that when asking about the dishes they were deliberately confusing and vague.

Once we finished diner, we provided our feedback to a second waitress and then, at the counter they asked us again and we mentioned that we had already provided feedback to the team before. As they saw us disappointed they offered the 3 glasses of wine for free.

We would never come back...
