Le Petit Tokyo — Restaurant in Geneva

I came here for dinner, we were a party of 3. We waited for 20 minutes until they brought out only 1 appetizer, edamame. After that we waited for another hour, and nothing was coming out. We were trying to ask the server how much longer it was going to be but not even he knew the answer to this.

The server and the chef were fighting for the whole time. I could hear and see them screaming at each other, and it was clear that they were extremely disorganized. There were only 2 other tables so they weren’t even fully booked.

We ended up leaving and only paid for our drinks. The edamames ended up being free. Still, it is so unacceptable to make someone wait 1:20 min and serve them only edamame.

The only reason why I am not giving them 1 star in everything is because the server was somewhat nice. But he was a little aggressive when we tried to ask for the status of our food. Don’t recommend coming here to be honest. They prioritized the takeout orders over their guest who...

What a gem to have found this spot right in the heart of Geneva. We were met with the warmest welcome, the owner was so accomodating and thoughtful in all of his selections and recommendations. He has a wonderful variety of teas that you must try. The food was not only very fresh but incredibly generous portions. You can tell that the owner and chef really put a lot of care and consideration in every ingredient they pick and item they put on the menu. Even outside of the menu you can tell that the owner has a vision, the wooden boxes we were eating out of are hand engraved, the ceramics and decorations elevate the ambiance and experience. First time ever in Europe and I wanted to find an authentic sushi bar/restaurant and this spot was awesome!! Jerome was amazing and told us a bit of his story going to Japan 10 years ago and how he collects fashion still from there and shows his collection right inside behind the counter! The chef has very good technique for onigiri and the rolls and it was a pleasure to eat there.
