The items in the menu look legit but the dishes you receive aren’t the right thing. I ordered 3 Vietnamese specialties: Canh Chua (sour & spicy shrimp soup), Bun Cha Hanoi (BBQ grilled pork in fish sauce with rice vermicelli) and Xoi La Dua (Pandan sticky rice in coconut milk). The soup was ok, even there was no pineapple or star fruit. But it came with bell pepper and Red cabbage (inexistant in Vietnam). The grilled pork had nothing to do with Bun Cha as there was no Bun but thick Udon (or Banh Canh I can’t tell). There was so many unknown and wrong things in that bowl I couldn’t tell. Bun Cha Hanoi is pretty simple : pork belly and pork patties grilled over the BBQ and tossed in a clear Nuoc Mam light sauce, the Bun and herbs are served separately. I couldn’t eat it like this as it was too salty (even for a Vietnamese that can drink Nuoc Mam). The desert was overcooked sticky rice that looked like a green blob instead of fluffy sticky rice. It should be glutinous but keep each grain intact. No fused sticky rice flour. My expectations were high, and I ended up totally discouraged. At least it’s not an Asian restaurant that mix Chinese Vietnamese Thai Japanese dishes. The food pictures are what you should get when ordering these dishes… and it’s not what you’re going to have.

I came back from a tour around 6 pm and starving. I tried to search for a casual restaurant and found another restaurant. Unfortunately the previous restaurant haven’t open their kitchen until 8 pm, plus they don’t speak English. Luckily, I passed by this Vietnamese restaurant and saw their cute decorations, and my starving level was quite high 😂 So I decide to give it a try. It seems like the restaurant is managed by a couple with lovely children. They greet me warmly and very polite. The husband recommended a dish for me as I couldn’t decide what to have. The wife was the chef and serving too. Unexpectedly, it was so yummy. The beef soup is so aromatic with tamarind and sweetness. It’s called “Bo Bun”. I can see they did everything by themselves from serving, cooking, cleaning, and decorating the restaurant. It gave a feeling like you go to your friends’ house and they cook for you. Recommended 👍🏻

As an Asian who grew up eating Asian food, I personally did not enjoy the flavours here. It was also quite expensive for Geneva. Sorry, I won’t be coming back. Edit: Pho in other Vietnamese restaurants in Geneva costs 18–24 CHF, so yes, your bland food is overpriced even by local standards. You also charge for tap water when everyone else offers it free. Good luck keeping customers with this combination of arrogance and mediocrity.

The service was friendly and the restaurant is cosy, typically Asian. The scented candles were very heavy in scent, not the best choice for a restaurant tbh. The entrees were good and tasty. The main dishes were ok. We had a vegan mixed grill that was more of a noodle/vegetable bowl with a few pieces of tofu and seitan. It had nothing to do with a mixed grill and it's quite pricey for what you get. We also had the 'fresh tofu with spring rolls' but this dish looked almost 100% similar to the 'mixed grill' (??) except for a few pieces of mango. Tofu and seitan are cheap, for the money people are paying they could add a whole lot more than they do. We didn't feel the need for a dessert after the main dishes and bought a sandwich on our way home because we were still a bit hungry. We wouldn't come back here. Also, it's too bad we didn't read the reviews about this place earlier. The way the owner responds to criticism is very childish and instead of taking it as constructive criticism to improve his restaurant he's taking it like a 6 year old who's...

The restaurant is great.

-It's not cheap but still in popular price range. -Ingredients are of high quality, freshly prepared - a rarity for asian restaurants of this price range. -The taste is daring and creative -The volume is enough for big eater -Staff is really nice and please pay attention to this point: if you have any specification (northern, southern style, wraping...) or other special request in your order, please let them know UPFRONT and they will do it. This is really their strongest point. -Nice location, it's 5 mins walking from lakeside, a real oasis in the rather bustling area of Paquis. The place is clean and you also have covered terrace to enjoy the outside without being "on the road".

I really enjoyed my Bún Cá-fish noodle soup, where could you have a whole dorade in your bún cá in Geneva?!

The "noodle soups" bún, phở are my recommendations of what to get in this restaurant.

So if you are looking for something nice and unusual, not an average asian fastfood, this...
