A wonderful evening meal! I bypassed a much busier Italian restaurant due to the previous reviews suggesting nice service. As a tourist who didn't speak French, the staff was very kind and welcoming! They made an effort to communicate with me on a way I could understand and the meal was fantastic! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and tasted like maybe it's made in- house? Everything was fresh and delicious and the friendly staff was so much appreciated. Can't recommend highly enough!

Avis sur la Pizzeria Al Quadrato : très décevant Je suis vraiment étonné, au vu des bonnes notes attribuées à cette pizzeria. J’ai commandé une pizza sicilienne qui s’est révélée sans aucun goût. Les olives étaient insipides, la pâte manquait clairement de sel, et la sauce tomate, en très faible quantité, ne permettait même pas d’en juger le goût. Les oignons étaient crus et fades, le thon tellement neutre qu’il était difficile de savoir s’il s’agissait vraiment de thon. Même la mozzarella était sans saveur. J’ai laissé la moitié de ma pizza — photo à l’appui. Autre point négatif : le service, un peu lent. Nous avons été servis après un couple arrivé bien après nous, alors que notre commande avait été prise avant la leur — et il s’agissait également de pizzas dans leur cas, ce qui rend cela d’autant plus incompréhensible. Seul point positif : le serveur, sympathique et professionnel, m’a proposé de refaire la pizza. Mais honnêtement, cela n’aurait rien changé : ce n’est pas la cuisson qui posait problème, mais bien la qualité des ingrédients eux-mêmes, totalement insipides. Refaire une pizza avec les mêmes produits n’aurait donc fait que reproduire la même déception. Très déçu, cette visite me laisse franchement perplexe quant à la fiabilité des avis laissés par d’autres clients.

We had an informal dinner here with some friends and we were pretty satisfied by the restaurant. Overall, Pizzas were good, ingredients were fresh and the dough was very similar to a real Italian pizza. Only negative note: we took also one pizza with Pistachio cream and it was delivered with only pistachio grain. it could have been told it beforehand and we would have chosen a different one.

Screwed up booking, but found this place. They got us a table last minute. Staff very polite. French Italian en English speaking, thankfully.

Given a welcome bruschetta. Delicious. Ordered the Geneva pinot noir. Absolutely lovely.

We ordered the Margarita and a penne cheese pasta over aubergines. Both very delicious. Very well cooked. Great tomato flavour

It took a while to get offered deserts, coffee, but we ended up wanting to go drinking so took the bill.

Delicious Italian food in the heart of the city. The penne siciliana tasted heavenly, served piping hot, straight from the oven. My friend ordered a pizza vegetariana, which was she thoroughly enjoyed too. We shared a creme brulee for dessert - couldn't have asked for a better way to end the meal! The staff was also very pleasant and welcoming, despite it being a crowded Saturday night. Overall a great experience! If only they had a bit more variety for vegetarians, but I'll take...
