Our server Aleksan was a highlight of the evening. His passion for his work shone through in his attentive service, engaging conversation, and thoughtful recommendations. It's refreshing to encounter staff who genuinely enjoy creating memorable dining experiences for their guests.
The menu execution was flawless. The escargot set the tone for an excellent meal. The monk fish with lemon butter was perfectly prepared, while the beef sirloin and duck legs demonstrated the kitchen's expertise with both land and sea. Each dish showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and proper French cooking techniques.
Don't skip dessert - the banoffee, recommended by our server, was a delightful end to the meal.
Practical notes: Online booking is straightforward and efficient. The restaurant location in south Switzerland makes it an excellent choice for both special occasions and casual fine dining.

Read moreWe went to this restaurant because it had fantastic reviews and the food looked really appealing. Unfortunately we may have encountered them on a bad day as a few things appeared to have gone wrong. The evening started off great with the beef brisket sliders and the sea bream ceviche which was honestly fantastic, especially with the use of coconut milk. The remaining dishes sadly were only okay. The char grilled sirloin on a herb butter sauce was not overcooked but somehow quite dry. The salmon and the sea bass filet were cooked on point but the dish was a bit simple and unimaginative and more what you would expect from a quick home cooking session. The Mac & Cheese was tasty but should definitely not be ordered with the truffle sauce which is very overpowering; this was our mistake. Following the disappointing main dishes and the truly very bad Paloma cocktail which tasted almost like plain sparkling water we opted to not have dessert. As a side note, we were charged CHF 9 for a bottle of still water which should be considered criminal in any part of the world. Long story short, we are happy to give the benefit of the doubt and as the entrees were good, we hope some changes are made before we come back, so the remaining courses live up to...
Read moreI was very curious as the reviews were good. The food was very good with different items, like the crème brûlée foie gras, an awesome appetizer , the escargot was a bit over powered with the parsley, but very good. My criticism is with the apparent owner or manager overpowering my service as she commanded more attention than the guests. I asked for the 2 appetizers to be served separately but unfortunately they arrived simultaneously. At which time all eyes were on her and the children running around the dining room. The salmon was very tasty yet somewhat dry , a bit to the done side maybe it suffered from the same timing issue as the appetizers. The risotto was very good and would have made a great side. It was very good though. I will return on my next visit as I believe my wife will enjoy the food. I’ll just make sure...
