Sportsbar & Terrasse — Restaurant in Kloten

I’m currently on transit at Zurich, trying to get my way to Bordeaux and my phone died. After asking 3 other bars if they could help me charge my phone… I arrived to sports bar Airport where this beautiful lady “Nicola” was so accommodating to me, I was unsure if my digital card could go through in order for me to buy a beer… this beautiful Nicola made it happen and she was the kindest most empathetic. When I wanted to go for a smoke, Nobre was such a gentlemen by showing me where I can go for my smokess and very kind and suggestible. Apart from that; the lager I had ordered from Aron was such a solid ice cold beer. He is a man with so much love and passion. I am grateful. We don’t forget Elif because I know that although there is so much work to do, she pushed herself out of her comfort zone to help me charge my phone and make sure I am okay here in Zurich. Nobre has beeen so charming with his accent annd the way he accommodates his guest. Hats off to the whole crew working for the company with passion. All in all I give 1000000000 points to the crew at sports bar Zurich as they have so much love and empathy for their customers. If I transit Zurich again, I’m surely coming back to this bar. Worst coffee ever. No bar service, I went up to the bar and stood there waiting for a minute looking at three disoriented people in the staff opening bottles, but none of them seemed to notice me dispite the fact that we were only a bar disk apart. When I finally caught their attention and tried to place my order I was told that it wasn't possible, you need to sit down and WAIT for someone to take your order by the table in this very strange bar. By the way, is it really a Sports bar? The only thing I saw that might be related to sports are the advertisement for watches that's was surrounded by photos of sports.... One Espresso, one latte macchiato and one water at €17....pretty much, I know that it's an airport, but the fact that the Espresso/latte didn't taste anything get me thinking that the bar staff uses the same shot of coffee for several customers, otherwise they are not trained to make a proper cup. Try to avoid this place...

I recommend anyone who considers going here to go somewhere else. It's expensive, the food is awful and the service terribly slow. I ordered a simple cheeseburger with some fries (they only have burgers and nachos) and I'm not even kidding it took a good 25 minutes to arrive.

The burger was CHF 27 which is an okay price for Zurich, but you can usually expect really good meat and other good ingredients for that. At Sportsbar, the burger was bland and very dry. Fries were okay.

Really the worst thing is the super slow service, as a bar in an airport that should really be different. Do yourself a favour and go to the Burger King around the corner, you'll get a much better, faster and cheaper burger.
