Casa Veglia — Restaurant in Laax

The restaurant used to be alright, but the new concept is subpar. Admittedly, the service is friendly (although not everybody speaks the local language like, but ok). The concept of having to order online and having to provide an email address is strange and not very personal. Nor do the canteen like carts help the impersonal impression. The food itself earns the distinction of being the worst cordon Bleu I ever had and the worst meal in Films / Laax. Salad with barely any dressing and mass food. The cordon bleu itself was of atrocious meat quality, dry, small and the “goat cheese” was anything but that. Just bad. Not as bad as the sauces provided, for which the picture below...

One of the worst ordering system I have ever experienced. You have to do it thru the website, without the waiter which is the most stupid idea I ever heard. The order is confussing for a large group of people, dishes are missing, the staff don't know what to do.. And you have to buy a metal cup for a softdrink if you want one. Not sure who and why made this idea work in the middle of Laax where you have a lot of nice restaurants around. We wont...

Poor, very expensive. Asked for a tap water (as had ordered a bottle of wine) had to speak to the manager to get it (wanted to charge it as the cost of a sort drink) she agreed and brought us water and glasses. when we went to leave the manager aggressively said we hadn’t paid the bill, which we had! Then said there was a bill for the tap water we had! £10 for tap water- absolutely disgusting. Never had this before....
