Chez Xu 1 — Restaurant in Lausanne

It was very nice place one year ago. I will never eat in this restaurant or order from there again. Last time that I went there I ordered two entrance. Only one of the entrance came in good time. I remind them the second entrance. Then my main course arrived but not the second entrance. I reminded them one more time my second entrance and it came in the middle of my meal. When I finish my meal I ordered a dessert, the waitress took my order and left. Then another waitress came and brought the bill. I said that I ordered a dessert. She said that they don't have this dessert anymore. So I wanted another one and she said they don't have it neither. I asked which dessert I can order, then she said none of them they don't have anything anymore (I saw that some people were eating...) In that moment I noticed people in the door who wait to have a table. They rushed my meal to have more customer even though I reserved a table to eat without stress. If they want people to eat and leave directly they should change their concept to fast food. Also last time that I ordered food to home from this restaurant, the crispy meal was not crispy at all. It was barely eatable. I also ordered vegeterian enterance and they send me porc instead of vegeterian. Me and my guest were very unhappy about the meal that night. I called them about this problem and they said that they were sorry. I payed for food that I couldn't eat and they didn't try to solve this problem. I will never eat there again while Lausanne is full of restaurants which cares about...

Food was good as always but the order taking was not.

6 of us gave our orders by number as per usual. She took starter and main courses at the same time which I thought was a mistake and I should have said so.

Another lady came back as she cod not read the order. We ended up writing it down for her. We spilt starters and main courses and asked both ladies two bring starters first. Two soups came. Then came starters and some mains so we were eating starters and mains together.

One soup did not arrive (allbeit we were told it was just coming half way through the meal) and we got none of the rice we ordered. It was billed but only because it was in the ordering system they were not trying to rip us off.

Food was good as usual they just need to sort some staff who know what...

Not the best Chinese restaurant, but then you are in Lausanne. Good portions, but the flavours just miss the mark. We had the grilled dumplings quite watery and flavour wise a bit meh. Along with spicy beef which was also quite watery. We had morning glory which wasn't too bad, but nothing special. With fried aubergine in a sweet soya sauce, which was the best dish by far that we had. We were eating with two kids who wanted sweet and sour chicken, this really wasn't great tasted very much of tomato. We also had a cashew chicken dish which wasn't great either. The steamed rice was fine. All in all as mentioned before the flavours were...
