Pavillon Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Lausanne

This is the third - and most successful - attempt in my knowledge to turn this odd little space into a functioning bar/restaurant.

The reason it's working out is the staff and management. They really are just about the best. In summer they keep an Amsterdam-sized terrasse buzzing with happy customers for hours, and in winter the little circular dining room is cosy and welcoming.

I'll confess that I haven't eaten here yet, but I'll update this post after I do. One intriguing entry on the menu is the 3 small vegi tacos, which sounds to me like the only remaining real taco possibility in Lausanne. This calls for investigation!

Awful treatment by "security" staff...

A security guy (presumably head of the security staff) rudly asked us to leave when the bar was closing even when the place was still crowded. We explained that we were waiting for a friend that was using the toilet, yet, the guy started pushing one of my friends trying to force her to leave. When we (she included) asked him to stop touching her, the guy got extremely aggressive and attacked another friend pulling him off his seat and pushing him violently. We left afterwards.

Waitresses and bartenders were kind but I can't...

It was a great pizza! Normally i take anchovy pizza, and ai must admit, not all restaurants do it well. This one was obviously made in a stone oven.

It was great to get out after the confinement period and I needed a bit of adjustment to the new "normal".

The decoration is perfect. We ate on the terrace and it is swamped with plants. There are trees, bushes and pots with herbs, and you can't believe it is right next to the big...
