Wow would be the first word that comes to mind when thinking through the dinning experience at the Academy. Fantastic location with the added view and waterfront for sure helps. But where most restaurants with beautiful views fall short on the food quality, the Academy steps up and delivers. I tried their fish risotto. Now this risotto is not what you typically get but almost a blend with a Paella. So perfectly done, the flavors performing a ballet on your taste buds. After the first bite I got goose bumps all over my body, it was almost a religious experience. The vietello was very nice and tender, the thin sliced meat almost melting in my mouth. The grilled eggplant a delight. Service levels are hand in hand with the overall experience and to top it off, mother nature delivered a rainbow while enjoying the food. Love it

Was expecting a good dinner but left with slight disappointment because the restaurant didn’t meet my expectation. I was expecting good food & good service at this price, from a prestigious hotel chain. Among multiple appetizers explicitly mentioned that were to be shared, the burrata didn’t come with serving spoon/fork, so it was messy when ~8 people used their own utensils in the same bowl. My gambas risotto came with lots of sour cream on top of the rice, which was weird to my taste, plus the stiff prawns (I wondered whether they were frozen prawns). Vegan panna cotta was not of my taste - it might be just me. I also had to ask for drinks menu after I sat down + a waiter came to ask what I’d like to order for drink. Not a big deal at all, but wasn’t expecting this at such restaurant.

L'Academia is a lovely choice for a romantic dinner. i recently visited with my partner and we both loved our meals. the food quality is great, with everything fresh and served hot. however, we did wait almost an hour for our main course after the appetizer, which was unexpected as the restaurant wasn't very crowded. while the appetizers were delicious, they seemed a bit small considering the price. i also opted for a pasta dish (my main course) in the entrée size, and despite knowing it'd be smaller, i had hoped for a slightly larger portion (it consisted of around 6 pieces of paccheri). nevertheless, we found the meals delicious, albeit a bit pricey. overall, i'm pleased with the experience and look forward to returning.

A l’unanimité.

spaghetti Chittara .

No reservation, but they did seat us. We waited a bit for the menus. After we ordered they brought the bread and drinks relatively quickly but, I had to send the soup back because they served it cold and I asked for it to be warm. I waited at least 10 min for the soup to be brought out warm. We waited over an hour after we ordered, we asked how much longer and we were told 5 min. Well it was at least 15 min. more before the food to be brought out. It was placed on the table, with no words other than making sure the food was placed in front of the right person. The food was luke warm. We ate the food without any follow up from the server. Finally the manager/hostess approached our table. We expressed our disappointment in the service and food temperature. The manager offered a reduced cost on a drink when she brought the bill. I can't say our experience was typical of this restaurant but not following up by the server and the food temperature left us very...
