We entered the restaurant excited to enjoy some comforting Korean food after a cold and tiring day in the city. The food was decent. We made a minor suggestion regarding the freshness of a dish but were surprised by the lack of professionalism. Our feedback, which was intended to be constructive, was dismissed in a disrespectful manner. This interaction left a negative impression on what could have been a much more enjoyable meal.
Replying to the owner: I appreciate that you took the time to explain your perspective, but I’d like to clarify my side as well. The feedback I provided about the broccoli was meant to be a minor suggestion, and I certainly did not expect any compensation. I was simply sharing what I thought was a genuine concern about the taste, as it did not meet my expectations. I never intended to imply that I knew better than the chef or other guests—taste is subjective, after all.
What left a lasting impression, however, was not the disagreement over the broccoli, but rather the tone and manner in which our feedback was received. As a customer, I value respectful communication, especially when trying to give constructive input. I understand that you might not have agreed with my assessment, but the response felt unnecessarily defensive and dismissive.
I appreciate your efforts to serve your guests, and I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of improving the customer experience.
To clarify, we gave our feedback about the broccoli in a straightforward and respectful manner. Our intention was simply to share our opinion, not to be rude or to ask for any compensation. It’s unfortunate that instead of accepting the feedback, you continue to label us as rude. We stand by the fact that our comments were made in good faith and with the intention of helping. Unfortunately, it seems that you are unwilling to accept any feedback that isn’t positive. We hope future customers will feel more comfortable sharing their honest opinions without being dismissed or accused of poor...
Read moreI ordered a dish of shrimp and various vegetables stir-fried in a special sauce, but they poured so much sauce on it that it was too salty to eat. The dish was completely ruined by the sauce. Not addressing the complaint and casually ignoring it, I regret passing it off because I didn't want to ruin my pleasant trip because of the food. Since I couldn't just leave it, I picked out the shrimp and dipped them in plain rice to try and get rid of the sauce, but even the rice with the sauce was so bad I couldn't touch it, and I only managed to eat a few shrimp, which were still salty. I couldn't even touch my favorite vegetables. It's astonishing that someone who makes food like that is working in the kitchen! It wasn't just during my travels, it was the worst food I've ever had in my life!
[Start of my rebuttal pointing out errors in the owner's response]
All of the memories in the owner's rebuttal are incorrect. I visited Switzerland in May, and even now, two months later, I cannot forget the saltiness of that dish. And the attitude of the staff. That's why I left a review. The food was so salty that I mentioned it to the foreign woman hosting us, but she completely ignored me! I didn't want to feel upset anymore. Not only was my mood soured, but I also restrained myself because I didn't want to ruin the mood of the people dining with me, who said, 'Overall, all the food is salty and tasteless.‘ Without even understanding the whole situation, the owner, who rudely responds to customer feedback without knowing the full context, and the staff, who say 'This is how we serve this dish' when told it's salty, are really alike in their approach. In the future, please accept feedback well and make improvements so that you can treat customers with good food in this...
Read moreVisited on a Thursday evening. The interior was neat and our family really really missed Korean food so we had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately, our expectation quickly changed into disappointment as soon as we walked in. The staff with glasses was very unfriendly. She snatched the menu out of our hands after getting our order. I had never seen a waitress with such an attitude during my stay in Switzerland. Also, I would definitely not recommend the pork belly. We wouldn't have ordered it if we knew that we would be served frozen meat for chf32 per person. Every piece of the frozen meat was sticked together. The rice tasted like it was in the cooker for quite a long time. The fact that we had to pay more than chf40 per person for such a poor service and low quality food is unacceptable. If you are expecting a warm and friendly korean restaurant that serves plenty of banchan, this is not the...
