Penthouse Roof Top Bar – 360° View — Restaurant in Lucerne

Bad Service, we came to Lucerna for a weekend trip, we went to the penthouse yesterday (Saturday night Dec 18th 2022) we arrived and no one payed us attention, we asked a waiter if we could have a table and he just said “look around if you find something without a reservation sign on the table you take the table” so we did, we found a table for two without any sign of being reserved, pretty much all of the tables had a reservation sign. So we just had 2 rounds of overpriced gin and tonic ( 4 glasses =100€) when someone came and placed a sign over the table we were sitting at that said it was reserved for midnight, it was just 9:30 pm , we weren’t planning staying that long we just wanted to finish our 2nd glass as we just had bought it, then came someone, manager or waiter I don’t know, and said they were going to need the table at that moment since the party already had arrived and it was just 9:30pm! Two minutes ago the table didn’t had any sign. And so they removed us from the table with our 2 glasses of gin that we just had bought like 5 minutes before that. I just can say that in my whole experience with the reservations and politeness this place has the worst service!! Try to learn how to speak and treat your customers…. From the moment we arrived we were just told to look around and see if we get any luck…. Worst expirience ever, and its not the first time. Very rude personal especially the security. Its not the first time that they make this there, they told us if you want to go in you must take 2 bottles and we were 4 people. I said one we can take and for the second we will think during the night and they say no you must take two bottles. We are every weekend all around Switzerland and that is the first club wich thinks that is the most elite but if you want to be treated like a dog, go on. I said okay we take two bottles and the guy put us on a lounge for 2 people instead of 4, and i said we are 4 not 2.
