We are tourists from Singapore and came across this 4.5 rating pizza that we wanted to try! (Really looking at those cheeeesy cheesy pizzzzaas)
So people were nice and friendly, ambience is good! And, we ordered 1 pizza and 2 dessert :)
Pizza came and was burnt, the crust? I don't really have much comment maybe some may prefer burnt and I went to research on google and it seems that way but just to note to everyone that it's quite burnt and does have the burnt charcoal smell. (Idk, I honestly don't like burnt smell and burnt crust below)
That is still okay since it's up to personal preference! Some may like it burnt, some may not.
So dessert came and I had my tiramisu and my wife had her cherry ice cream. Cherry ice cream is delicious and wonderful, good serving and taste!
So here come's the 1 star for my tiramisu, it's spoilt man - Sour taste with a pungent smell, I actually ate a lot of tiramisu before and this is my first time tasting tiramisu that is sour (I thought it's the way they prepared it, maybe a special way?) But the smell definitely means it's spoilt/expired lol. It's quite disgusting to digest something like that, and you gotta admit it's spoilt instead of telling me that it's made with acid? Excuses.
It may be just my bad experience, but no homemade tiramisu from here ever again. Hope I don't have food poisoning since I actually finished half before telling the...
Read moreI absolutely dislike writing a non positive review, however today our experience was really not pleasant. My husband and I found this place on Google and we wanted to come and try their pizza, we came over and there was a huge queue outside, we joined it. We are standing there waiting for our turn, a lovely waitress even stopped to ask if she could help and we said we would like a table for two, she said unfortunately we have to wait for the colleague who is dealing with seating arrangements. We saw that he was sitting a group of guests inside, we decided to go up the stairs to meet him there at the entrance to the restaurant, he goes past us and says, the people behind you were first, which was not true, and then we see him greeting these people as if they are friends and getting them a table. We already were shocked on how this all was developing, but we thought we are going to wait and give it a second chance. And then we can see that this employee, started taking their order, knowing that no other waiters can sit anybody down. It was a huge group of people, so we gave up, and after a beautiful day in Luzern, it absolutely spoiled our mood. Unfortunately, we did not even get a chance to taste the food, but the service was...
Read moreThe pizzas are good, tasty and are typical Italian style. I personally was very disappointed because of the limited options in the menu. There is only one salad, two or three entries and around 10 pizzas – 5 red and 5 white (without tomato sauce). No calzone in their menu. The prices are those of similar restaurants in Luzern (20-30 CHF for a pizza). We didn't particularly like the place as it lacked decoration (nothing on the tables and no paintings or any kind of decoration on the walls). The chairs are kind of cheap and we were surprised when they said they were not able to offer any chair for our small daughter.
Our experience: the place was rather empty when we arrived, which made us feel a bit in a 'lonely' cold restaurant. The staff was friendly. Disappointing as well was the fact that they didn't have the ingredients to prepare the pizza I wanted originally, which forced me to order another one. A last downside of this place: I was not able to pay with my PostFinance debit card, which forced my to use my credit card. It is overall not a bad restaurant, but in the future I prefer other pizzerias with better atmosphere and a...
