Thai Lanna — Restaurant in Lucerne

My husband and I went here for dinner over the weekend while we were visiting Lucerne. The food was great, however I could not say the same about the service. We were seated behind a plant and had to wait quite a while to get seated, get menus, and then again to place our order. While we were there we also felt racially discriminated against, and truly should have gotten up and left. When I asked the owner if the chicken was halal, he laughed and said that it was not and that it was the "finest swiss chicken" as if halal chicken is poor quality. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my visit to Thai Lanna:

It takes a very long time to get assigned a table (even with a reservation).

Although the place was only half full, it took forever for the order to be taken and for the food to be served

The two waiters were very overloaded. The young Asian guy was friendly but the old Swiss seemed rushed, inattentive and unsympathetic.

Taste was ok but even the green curry, which has heat level "three out of three chillis", is about as spicy as a glass of milk.

The prices are absolutely not justified (100+ CHF for 2 startes, 2 soft drinks and 2 standard...

Best Thai food in town. The food was tasty and the owner was very helpful with the choices and portion sizes. We wanted vegetarian food and without fish sauce.
