We love Luzern and there are many great places to eat out, but this was really something special. The food was comfort, fun and, occasionally, unapologetic fire all rolled into one. The restaurant itself has a great ambience and the serving staff were really friendly, without being intrusive, but the food was what got us. We probably ordered a bit too much for our greedy twosome (8 dishes). Everything was great, but the standout dishes were easy - the bimi broccoli, the shrimp gyoza and the bone marrow. I freely admit that if I had to choose meat over veg, I'd be first in line every time, but goodness - I'll make an exception for this dish. Our mouths were on fire, but we just couldn't stop munching. And the gyoza, fiery saucing balanced by the sweet shrimp filling - pockets of perfection. Their menu is paperless and needs be viewed on your phone, but it makes perfect sense when you realise that they're constantly innovating and adding to their repertoire. If we needed another reason to return (which, frankly, we don't)...
Read moreWent there with friend for dinner and ordered tartar which is something I ate already so many times before in my life and usually enjoy it. The one I got in Fed was really salty, I could not taste the meat at all which I think was in the end on purpose to hide old meat taste, yes I got stomach issues day after. The second course was the restaurants take on Cordon blue and it was really weird eating pork with cheese while smelling fish due to the sea weed grass placed on it. The margarita I got was children size, and the dessert of my friend was totally tasteless. It honestly tasted like cheapest ice cream from box with some wiped cream on it. This restaurant got the looks of the interior right and has really nice service, but food was simply waste of my money and time. Will not come back. I found out one week later that my friend was there one week before me and felt very much let down by the food as well. Same feeling nice interior and service but bad...
Read moreIn general: very nice restaurant with interesting and tasty menu different from other restaurants in Luzern and in all Switzerland.
Advantages: very nice and friendly service they have Orange vine! It is a big plus! the menu is different from the usual in Switzerland. (To be honest, Switzerland do not have a good kitchen, as per my taste) good choice of spirits alcoholic/non-alcoholic. everything that we have tried was good and tasty.
Disadvantages: portions. They could be bigger for it’s price. (on the photo all the dishes looks big enough, but it is not big at all. I mean it is like snack or appetizers.) more healthy options would be nice to have at the menu. (without everything fried, for example)
In overall, nice place that I can recommend to visit. Especially if you’re not big fan of usual Switzerland kitchen, but want...
