Lagerhaus — Restaurant in St. Gallen

The restaurant is a perfect place for couple at a romantic date or group like us. We came with more than 25 people and stayed till late. The restaurant gave us a welcome greeting and great service. We had rib eye steak with fries and fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked beautifully and fries were fresh and crispy. For dessert, we had Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Ambiete ist in Ordnung - eine typische Lagerhalle. Eher sehr schlicht gehalten, was die Deko betrifft.

Vorspeise: Rindstartar - war gut. Fehlte einwenig Gewürz im Tartar. Evtl. mit Schärfegrad anbieten?

Hauptgänge: Lammkotelett - in medium rare bestellt, leider Garstufe nicht erreicht. Zum Teil war es noch sehr blutig. Man hatte mehr Knochen als Fleisch für diesen Gang. Geschmacklich war aber gut. Die Pommes waren dafür hervorragend. Rindsfilet - Garstufe sehr gut getroffen und geschmacklich auch sehr gut.

Dessert: Panna cotta mit Mangosauce - zu wenig Sauce drauf, Panna cotta sehr luftig, aber es fehlte süsse.

Service: leider schrecklich. 2 Mal wurde unser Tisch verwechselt. Die 2 von 3 Servicemitarbeiterinnen an unserem Tisch waren total unmotiviert. Nie wurde gefragt, ob das Essen gut ist und nie wurde gefragt, ob man mehr Trinken möchte, obwohl unsere Getränke nach dem Erhalt der Hauptspeise schon leer waren. Das Personal müsste mehr auf die Tische durchblicken.

Im grossen und ganzen würden wir für diesen Service nicht...
